Your client will receive an invitation link in their email after you send a Discovery Journey.

Client can't find the Invitation email?
If your client is having trouble finding the invitation email:

Ensure they check their junk or spam folder, or;

Alternatively, they can log in to the platform using the same email you sent the invite to. Direct them to visit: https://app.middle.finance/ to log in and they can then continue and complete the Discovery Journey.

Logging in / user authentication

Your customer should type in the same email address that they received the Middle fact-find link to login.
once the email has been entered the customer will be sent a secure code to their email address. Entering that secure code will provide your customer with access to the Middle customer portal.

Accepting 'Terms of use'

Your customer will be prompted to accept Middle's platform terms which covers:

Our Privacy Collection Notice
Our Terms of Use
Consent to an ID verification check
Consent to us obtaining an Equifax Report

You can review when your client has accepted our 'Terms of Use' in the 'Applicant Progress' tracker.

If your customer declines the 'Terms of use' they will not be able to proceed.

Driver Licence pre-fill using AI Extraction (Coming Very Soon!)

Middle’s digital fact-find includes automated AI extraction for driver licences. This feature pre-fills applicant personal details and automatically stores front and back copies of the ID within the document hub.

How the Client Capture Flow Works

Upfront Prompt: At the start of the Discovery journey, clients are prompted to capture or upload their driver licence using their mobile browser or desktop webcam.

Data Extraction: The AI reads the licence to populate fields like licence number, state, expiry, and full name.

File Storage: Images of both the front and back of the licence are automatically saved to the file.

Dual-Applicant Scenarios & Consent
Both primary and secondary applicants are prompted to provide their Driver Licence via the AI extraction tool at the beginning of the journey. If the secondary applicant provides consent for the primary applicant to complete the fact-find on their behalf, the primary applicant will be prompted at their Welcome screen to provide ID details for both applicants.

Accessing ID Copies in the Middle Broker Portal
Even if "Driver Licence" was not included in your initial document request list, the captured front and back images are retained in the background - just toggle on the Driver Licence document type in Document requests.
